Lubbock symphony orchestra (LSO) Masterworks Series

Conducted by David Cho (LSO Music Director) & One Guest Conductor

The Lubbock Symphony Orchestra performs five classical “Masterworks” concerts per season. These concerts feature pieces by renowned composers spanning the history of classical and symphonic music. At least one concert per season will showcase notable operatic or choral music. Masterworks are performed by our full symphony orchestra, oftentimes alongside acclaimed guest artists that you won’t want to miss! Top students from the Lubbock Youth Orchestras will join the symphony for one “side-by-side” concert each year as well.

The LUBBOCK Symphony CHAMBER ORCHESTRA (LSCO) Chamber Series

The Lubbock Symphony Chamber Orchestra is a premier ensemble within the Lubbock Symphony organization that features a seasoned roster of our area’s most accomplished musicians. The orchestra is distinguished locally for championing a unique repertoire that includes classical orchestral favorites, virtuosic solo concerti, and captivating chamber works of varied instrumentation. Through inclusive approaches with its distinct programs, the orchestra aims to cultivate a love of art music for generations to come.

The LSCO presents two concerts each season, called the “Chamber Series.”
