LUBBOCK SYMPHONY JANUARY 23 & 24 PERFORMANCES CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER
January 23, 2026
LUBBOCK, TX — Due to weather-related concerns and in the interest of public safety, the Buddy Holly Hall and Lubbock Symphony have made the difficult decision to cancel the scheduled performance of Symphonie Espagnole Featuring Chee-Yun on Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24, 2026, at The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts & Sciences.
The Lubbock Symphony Orchestra shares in the disappointment this may cause. “We were truly looking forward to sharing this special performance with our community and want to thank our sponsors Hill & Ioppolo, The Ioppolo Family Foundation, and Casserole Premium Beans for their continued support,” said Lubbock Symphony President and CEO, Heather Hocker. “However, the safety of our patrons, musicians, staff, and guest artists must always be our first priority.”
The Lubbock Symphony thanks its patrons for their understanding and continued support. “The LSO is excited to welcoming our audience back for our performance of Brahms: A German Requiem on February 28,” said Lubbock Symphony president and CEO, Heather Hocker.
