Official President & CEO

ImageThe LSO is pleased to announce Mary Saathoff as the person to assume this role. Saathoff was the Interim Executive Director for three months. She agreed to be the President and CEO Friday, February 2 -- the same day the two-year search for a conductor ended.

Saathoff has also been the co-owner of George Robinson Violins for two years along with LSO violinist, Brian Gum.

Saathoff accepted the position as Interim Executive Director November 1, 2006 after previous President and CEO, Pam Parkman, resigned a month earlier.

Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Saathoff holds three music degrees: a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio; a master's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio; and a doctorate of philosophy in fine arts, with a major in music, from Texas Tech University.

Previously, Saathoff worked as director of corporations, foundations and scholarships in the development office at Texas Tech.
