LYSO Handbook:

Funds and Fees

The Parent Organization raises funds to benefit the LYSO Program. They also organize the phone tree, provide refreshments at rehearsals and are in charge of getting volunteers when needed.

Fees

  • Audition Fee: $5.00 non-refundable
  • Membership Fee: annual fee of $300 ($60 non-refundable tuition deposit; $240 tuition balance)
  • Chamber Ensemble fee: $50

Scholarships

It is our desire that no student be denied participation in the program due to financial need. If a student is accepted into the program, he/she will have an opportunity to request financial aid for tuition and/or private lessons. Financial aid is given according to monies available.

Funding

We are a non-profit organization that depends on tuition, grants, sponsors (corporate and individuals) and fundraising.
